Fresh from holding Barcelona to a draw at Camp Nou, Girona will look to continue their ascent of the La Liga table when they host relegation-doomed Elche on Sunday afternoon.

Girona have climbed to 11th thanks to a three-game unbeaten run, while Elche remain 14 points adrift at the foot of the standings with a measly two wins to their name.

Following Monday's performance at Camp Nou, we expect in-form Girona to make light work of struggling Elche, with the hosts preventing the visitors from finding the back of the net.

Atletico Madrid will go in search of a sixth successive La Liga victory when relegation-threatened Almeria visit the Civitas Metropolitano on Sunday.

Diego Simeone's men have moved to within two points of second-placed Real Madrid in the La Liga table, while Almeria find themselves 16th – three points above the drop zone.
