Johan Cruyff: 'Barcelona should bring back Pep Guardiola'

Former Barcelona attacker Johan Cruyff wants to see Pep Guardiola, who is currently in charge of Bayern Munich, return to the Camp Nou.

Former Barcelona attacker Johan Cruyff believes that the Catalan outfit should do all they can to reappoint Pep Guardiola.

Guardiola won three league titles and two Champions Leagues during four years in charge at the Camp Nou.

It has been a difficult first season at the helm for Gerardo Martino, however, with the Argentine seeing his side eliminated in the Champions League quarter-finals and drop to third in La Liga.

"The best thing for Barcelona is for Guardiola to come back," Cruyff told Mundo Deportivo.

"If Joan Laporta became president again I'd say that the best thing to do is to sign Pep, and as an intelligent person, I'm sure he would."

Guardiola is currently in his first season in charge of Bayern Munich.
