Ivan Rakitic vows to continue improving

Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitic vows to continue improving at Barcelona.

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has insisted that he will continue striving to become a better player with the Catalan outfit.

The Croatian joined Barca from Sevilla in the summer, a move that the central midfielder has described as "a dream come true".

"I know that I have to learn and always try to take a step forward. You can show your best potential if you feel happy and integrated, and I've felt like that since my first day in Barcelona," he told UEFA.com.

"Wearing this jersey is a dream come true, it's a fantastic feeling. All kids dream of coming here. My only thought was to be able to share a locker room with these players.

"I wanted to learn from them, as players and as persons. They're players who have won it all."

Rakitic captained Sevilla to the Europa League title last season.
