Barcelona are reportedly keen on luring Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti to the Camp Nou.
Due to a FIFA transfer embargo, the Blaugrana cannot move for the Italian player until at least 2016, but that has not stopped the Spanish champions supposedly tabling a €50m (£37m) bid.
However, Les Parisiens suggests that PSG will not sell him in any case, despite the alleged offer from the Catalan giants, who are said to want Verratti as a successor to Xavi.
The 22-year-old has not completely ruled out a move to Barca in the future, but has recently paid tribute to his current club for giving him a chance to play at a high level.
PSG can retake top spot in Ligue 1 from Lyon with a victory away to Nantes on Sunday.
