Javier Mascherano hints at Barcelona exit

Argentine international Javier Mascherano hints that he could depart Barcelona in the summer.

Javier Mascherano has hinted that he could depart Barcelona in the summer.

The Catalan outfit could only draw 0-0 with Elche on Sunday evening, but victory against Atletico Madrid next weekend would secure the Primera Division title after Diego Simeone's side slipped up at home to Malaga.

Mascherano has not firmly said that he will depart at the end of the season, but offered the impression that the Atletico clash will be his last in a Barcelona shirt.

"It's great what we've got coming up this week and over the weekend," he told reporters.

"For some of us, it may be our last game at the club, so it will be a very nice way to say goodbye."

Napoli have been strongly linked with a move for the Argentine.
