Barcelona are reportedly preparing a January move for Borussia Dortmund's in-form striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 26-year-old joined Dortmund from Saint-Etienne in 2013 and hit 42 goals across his first two seasons with the former German champions.
The Gabon international has also started this season in fine form, scoring 20 times in 17 games, including a hat-trick against Augsburg at the weekend.
Barcelona have still not directly replaced Pedro, who joined Chelsea in the summer, and it is understood that a new forward has been made a priority.
According to the Daily Star, the Catalan outfit will move for the explosive striker when the winter window opens, but Liverpool are also said to be in the running following the appointment of Jurgen Klopp.
Thirteen of Aubameyang's goals this season have been in the Bundesliga.
