Barcelona sporting director Albert Soler has revealed that Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi will soon be offered contract renewals.
Neymar, Sergio Busquets and Javier Mascherano have all penned contract extensions this summer, and Ivan Rakitic is next in line for a new deal after reportedly turning down both Manchester United and Chelsea.
The Spanish club's attention will then switch to Suarez and Messi, while Andres Iniesta 'will stay until he wants to leave', according to Soler, who spoke at a press conference to mark the conclusion of the transfer window.
"We have closed 22 transactions, with three renewals of Mascherano, Busquets and Neymar, which are all very important. The duty we have now is to renew Rakitic, Suarez and then Messi. The club does not stop," Soler told reporters. "Messi and [Andres] Iniesta will stay here until they want to. They are our emblem. We want them to finish their careers here."
Barcelona will continue their La Liga defence with a home match against Deportivo Alaves on September 10.
