Barcelona want Munir El Haddadi to return after Valencia loan

Barcelona insist that they want Munir El Haddadi to return to the club at the end of his season-long loan at Valencia.

Barcelona have insisted that they intend to welcome back Munir El Haddadi once his loan to Valencia comes to an end next summer.

The 20-year-old was sent to the Mestalla on Tuesday as part of a deal that resulted in Paco Alcacer heading to Camp Nou.

Valencia have the option to sign Munir permanently for £10.2m, but Barcelona's director of sporting institutional relations Albert Soler has claimed that they want the youngster back.

"The objective with Munir is for him to get minutes at a great club, and then return," Soler told reporters in this morning's press conference.

Munir joined Barca's youth academy in 2011, eventually making his senior debut in 2014.
