Samuel Umtiti will reportedly tell Barcelona that he has no interest in coming to an agreement over a compensation package to allow him to leave the club on a free transfer this summer.
The 27-year-old only made 16 appearances for Ronald Koeman's side last season and has been strongly linked with a move away from Camp Nou over the last few months.
A recent report claimed that Barcelona had offered to release Umtiti from his contract this summer, as the Catalan outfit desperately attempt to reduce their wage bill.
The centre-back would be entitled to a compensation package, as his deal still has two years left to run, but according to Marca, the Frenchman is not interested in leaving on a free transfer.
The report claims that Umtiti is open to moving on this summer but still hopes to be given the chance to prove his worth to Koeman during pre-season.
The Frenchman, who has been linked with a move to the Premier League, has featured on 132 occasions for Barcelona since joining the club from Lyon in July 2016.
