Sports Mole previews Barnsley's match with Cardiff City at Oakwell on Saturday afternoon.

Barnsley host Cardiff City at Oakwell on Saturday afternoon as they look to create distance between themselves and the relegation zone

The Tykes secured a morale-boosting 1-1 draw at Bolton Wanderers last weekend to halt a run of four successive league defeats.

Manager Keith Hill revealed after that match that he was pleased that his side's confidence had not disappeared and that statement could hint towards the same starting lineup for the match against Cardiff.

Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay saw his side suffer several injury blows during last weekend's 1-0 win over Middlesbrough.

Andrew Taylor and Ben Turner were both forced off during the opening half-hour of last week's game and that could see Joe Ralls and Ben Nugent introduced to the starting lineup as their replacements.

Despite sitting in second place in the Championship table, Cardiff have only won two out of their eight matches on the road this season.

Sports Mole says: 1-3
