Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has admitted that the loss of Xherdan Shaqiri to injury is a blow ahead of their Champions League clash at Arsenal on Wednesday.
Shaqiri tore his right thigh after scoring two goals in Saturday's 4-0 victory over Freiburg in the Bundesliga.
"It is a pity for him," he told reporters. "He can play on the wing or come inside.
"He is dynamic and instinctively knows where the goal is. He's an important player for me."
The winger is expected to be out of action for the next three weeks.
