Pep Guardoila: 'I will leave Bayern Munich if I am not wanted'

Pep Guardiola claims that he would have no problem leaving Bayern Munich if the club decided it did not want him as manager.

Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has claimed that he would be prepared the leave the club if he were not wanted.

Guardiola's side have swept aside all before them so far, winning the Bundesliga in record time, reaching the Champions League quarter-finals and the final of the German Cup.

There have been critics though, with Bayern legend Franz Beckenbauer claiming that the team will become unwatchable due to their patient passing style.

"I have to accept criticism," Guardiola is quoted as saying by Mundo Deportivo.

"I tell myself 'Pep, calm down'. You are here to work as well as possible, and my best talent is work, work, work.

"I am here to help the club, and if the club do not want me, a handshake and no problem for me."

Guardiola recently claimed that his side would need to improve to beat Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals.
