Recent reports have claimed that midfielder Toni Kroos was set to join Real Madrid when he comes back from World Cup duty with Germany. The player himself has moved to deny the claims, but fell short of committing his future to Bayern.
In terms of players coming in, coach Pep Guardiola is believed to be keen to bring in Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal, although there are concerns over his injury record, while the Costa Rica goalkeeper Keylor Navas has emerged as a possible target.
Borussia Dortmund
The German runners-up look to have a fight on their hands if they want to keep star centre-back Mats Hummels at the club, as Premier League side Manchester United have reportedly made him their number one target to sign in the transfer window.
