Real Madrid have reportedly secured the signature of Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos after the two clubs agreed a transfer this week.
The 24-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United under former manager David Moyes, but new boss Louis van Gaal is said to have been against pursuing the German.
According to Spanish newspaper Marca, a deal worth around £20m has been reached after Bayern and Madrid opened negotiations earlier this week.
Kroos, who previously stated that he expected to be at the Allianz Arena next season, has one year remaining on his current Bayern contract.
