Steve Kean insists that he will be the manager of Blackburn Rovers next season.

Steve Kean has insisted that he will not quit Blackburn Rovers in the summer.

The Ewood Park-based club will be relegated to the Championship if they suffer a defeat to Wigan Athletic tomorrow night.

However, Kean expects to be the manager of Rovers, regardless of what division they are playing in.

"I don't expect to go down but if we do I definitely want to be here and I expect to be here," he told The Sun.

"The target for us is to make sure we're in the division we want to be in which is the top division.

"Financially, we've got a lot of income from transfers and I'd suggest the capital inside the squad is a lot healthier than a couple of years ago."

Rovers are currently 19th in the Premier League table.
