Steve Kean has insisted that his Blackburn Rovers side are capable of securing their Premier League status.
Rovers will be relegated to the Championship next week if they lose to Wigan Athletic and other results transpire against them.
Despite his team's bleak position, Kean believes that survival is not impossible.
"What we need now is two massive performances," he told BBC Sport after witnessing Rovers lose 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspur earlier today. "We are certainly still in it.
"Of course, we have got belief. There have been many times this season when people have written us off and we have to do that again."
Blackburn are currently 19th in the Premier League table.
