Steve Kean reveals that he is aiming to add four players to his Blackburn Rovers squad in January.

Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has revealed that he is looking to add four players to his squad during the January transfer window.

The Scottish boss has also admitted that he is keen to add some experience to his playing ranks.

"I think we need four [players] and if we can get them quickly, together with lads coming out of the medical room, I think we can climb the table quickly," he said after his side's 1-1 draw with Liverpool earlier this afternoon.

"If we can get established players in and get them bedded into the team then that can only be good for everybody."

Rovers remain bottom of the Premier League table despite today's point.
