Blackpool beat Burnley 4-0 in a one-sided game at Bloomfield Road.

Blackpool hit four against Burnley without reply to earn a well-deserved win at Bloomfield Road.

In the first minute there was a shout for hand ball as Marney blocked a Blackpool shot, though the referee gave nothing.

Matt Gilks was forced into a fine save on eight minutes when Wallace's cross was met by McCann.

At the opposite end, Grant pulled off an equally impressive save to keep out a 25-yard shot from Ince on 12 minutes.

Blackpool grabbed the opening goal on 21 minutes, with Dobbie hitting it into the bottom corner from 30 yards after a quick free kick.

A minute later, Trippier came close to an immediate response, cutting in from the right to force Gilks into a save at his near post.

On 29 minutes, Trippier's cross was met by Austin with a header which was parried by Gilks, Stanislas hit a shot from the rebound, but the Blackpool shot-stopper was equal to it again.

The sides went in at half time with Blackpool 1-0 up.

Two minutes into the second half and Blackpool doubled their lead after Taylor-Fletcher's header is cleared under the crossbar by Duff, but declared to have crossed the line.

On 62 minutes, Crainey made it 3-0 after his effort slipped through Grant's hands.

A miserable day for Burnley got even worse in the 81st minute when Dicko slotted in the fourth for Blackpool after Trippier had tried to play offside.

The full time whistle went with Blackpool taking all three points in a one-sided affair.
