Newcastle United's Dan Gosling joins Blackpool on loan

Dan Gosling joins Blackpool from Newcastle United on a loan deal running until January 1.

Blackpool have announced that Newcastle United midfielder Dan Gosling has moved to the club on a loan deal running until January.

The 23-year-old, who will provide an extra option for manager Paul Ince, has struggled to secure a regular place in Alan Pardew's Magpies side this season.

The Seasiders have confirmed on their official website that Newcastle have the option to recall Gosling after 28 days.

Gosling has been snapped up following an ankle injury suffered by captain Barry Ferguson.
