Bologna remain a point ahead of Cheivo Verona after neither team could find a winner at the Stadio Renato Dell'Ara.

The visitors were in front after 25 minutes when the ball dropped to Marco Andreolli in the Bologna area and he found the bottom right-hand corner.

Their lead lasted until the hour-mark, when Marco di Vaio levelled matters following a similar situation in the Chievo penalty box.

Eight minutes later, some inventive passing in Bologna's final third opened up an opportunity for Cyril Thereau.

Perperim Hetemaj had slipped Sergio Pellissier through, who squared the ball from the right the Frenchman to tap in, restoring Chievo's lead.

However, Alessandro Diamanti rescued a point for Bologna nine minutes from time when he fired a low left-footed shot past Stefano Sorrentino.

The stalemate means both teams have kept alive their hopes of European qualification.
