Bolton Wanderers have announced that Andy Robinson has joined the club from Southampton on a short-term loan deal.
Reports emerged this morning claiming that the Championship outfit were close to agreeing a deal.
It has now been confirmed that the 21-year-old, who underwent a two-week trial at the Reebok, will be a Bolton player until May 3.
"We've been looking at him for a while now," manager Dougie Freedman told the club's official website. "He's a good young player who has been brought up in a fantastic system.
"I've watched him play in the reserves for Southampton for some time now and we know all about him. He's a different type to some of the midfielders we've currently got."
Robinson made his senior debut for Southampton in a League Cup clash against Sheffield Wednesday in September 2012.
