New Borussia Dortmund deal for Neven Subotic

Borussia Dortmund centre-back Neven Subotic signs a new two-year contract with the Bundesliga club.

Neven Subotic has extended his contract with Borussia Dortmund by a further two years.

The centre-back's previous deal had been due to expire at the end of next season.

However, the 26-year-old has now committed himself to the eight-time German champions until at least the summer of 2018.

"I'm extremely happy about my decision to stay with BVB. Dortmund has now become my second home," the Serbia international told the club's official website.

"I'm now looking forward to a successful future with our team and our fantastic fans behind us. We have a great deal to do in the immediate future and I want to make a big contribution,"

Subotic joined Dortmund in 2008 from Mainz and he has gone on to make 186 Bundesliga appearances for Die Schwarzgelben.
