Borussia Monchengladbach announce Lars Stindl capture

Hannover captain Lars Stindl signs a five-year deal to join fellow Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach.

Borussia Monchengladbach have confirmed that Hannover captain Lars Stindl will join them in the summer.

The 26-year-old has penned a five-year contract with the Bundesliga high-flyers for an undisclosed fee.

"Since I have made up my mind, I wanted to announce it without delay and be open and honest," Sky Sports News quotes Stindl as saying.

"I will give all I have got in the games that remain to ensure that Hannover secure their place in the Bundesliga next season.

"I have chosen to take the next step in my career, but until the end of the season it is all about giving my best performance so that Hannover stay in the Bundesliga."

Stindl had taken over as Hannover captain last year following Steven Cherundolo's retirement
