Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Bournemouth could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Southampton.

Bournemouth could be without nine players for Saturday's Premier League clash with Southampton at St Mary's.

Evanilson (foot), Enes Unal (ACL), Alex Scott (knee), Marcos Senesi, Julian Araujo (both hamstring) and Adam Smith (muscle) are all sidelined with injuries, while Julio Soler is still away on international duty with Argentina at the South American Under-20 Championship.

James Hill and Luis Sinisterra are both closing in on a return from hamstring injuries, but it remains to be seen whether they will be fit to feature in the matchday squad this weekend.

Bournemouth's lengthy injury list prevented Andoni Iraola from making wholesale changes for last weekend's 2-0 FA Cup win over Everton, and the majority of the Cherries players that started at Goodison Park are set to retain their places in the first XI against Southampton.

A back four of Lewis Cook - still operating as a makeshift right-back - Illia Zabarnyi, Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez is expected to protect goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, while Tyler Adams and Ryan Christie are set to link arms in centre-midfield.

While Antoine Semenyo should continue on the left flank, David Brooks and Justin Kluivert are set to replace Marcus Tavernier and Ben Winterburn in the final third, while Dango Ouattara will likely start as the central striker at the expense of Daniel Jebbison.

Bournemouth possible starting lineup: Kepa; Cook, Zabarnyi, Huijsen, Kerkez; Christie, Adams; Brooks, Kluivert, Semenyo; Ouattara
