Bournemouth have reportedly launched an official bid for Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray.
The Cherries have been linked with the 31-year-old as they attempt to bolster their squad before the close of the summer transfer window on September 1.
Murray spent the first half of last season on loan at Reading, but Palace manager Alan Pardew has ruled out selling the forward.
Despite the Eagles' stance, Bournemouth, who were promoted to the Premier League for the first time in their history in May, have put an offer for Murray on the table, according to Sky Sports News.
The Cherries have also been linked with a move for Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe, but manager Eddie Howe has rejected the rumours.
