Bournemouth target Celtic's Charlie Mulgrew?

Celtic defender Charlie Mulgrew is a transfer target for newly-promoted Bournemouth, according to a report.

Bournemouth are reportedly interested in signing Celtic defender Charlie Mulgrew.

The 29-year-old has been sidelined with a knee injury since December, but has returned to training and is close to a first-team return.

Cherries boss Eddie Howe is thought to have started preparations ahead of Bournemouth's first ever season as a Premier League club and has been monitoring Mulgrew's progress for some time, according to the Glasgow Evening Times.

The Scotland international, who has one year remaining on his four-year deal at Celtic Park, has also played for Aberdeen and Wolverhampton Wanderers during his career.
