Ronaldo: 'No problem losing goal record to Miroslav Klose'

Former Brazil striker Ronaldo pays tribute to Miroslav Klose for becoming the World Cup's all-time leading goalscorer.

Former Brazil striker Ronaldo has insisted that he has no problem losing his World Cup goal record to Miroslav Klose.

The Germany forward eclipsed Ronaldo last week when he netted his 16th goal against the Brazilians to become the tournament's all-time leading scorer.

"He deserves all the credit for having it for having scored 16 World Cup goals," Ronaldo is quoted as saying by Goal.com.

"When he had equalled my record against Ghana, I had congratulated him through Twitter. I really don't have a problem with someone breaking my record."

Klose and his Germany teammates return to action on Sunday night when they face Argentina in the World Cup final.
