Luiz Felipe Scolari hires psychologist to help Brazil players?

Brazil manager Luiz Felipe Scolari reportedly calls on a psychologist to assist his players ahead of their World Cup quarter-final clash against Colombia.

Brazil's manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has reportedly called on a psychologist to assist the national football team ahead of their World Cup quarter-final clash against Colombia.

In the second round, the Selecao beat Chile on penalties, but Neymar, David Luiz and Julio Cesar appeared to be in tears at the end of extra time.

According to The Guardian, the Brazil manager, who previously claimed that his side was 'afraid', has decided to seek professional help for his players in a bid to address what some Brazilian sources have called 'emotional fragility'.

When asked about the emotional state of the team, midfielder Fernandinho told reporters: "The emotions are becoming stronger. Crying reflects this.

"But I believe we will be better prepared for these situations after a game like [the one we had against Chile]. Things will become normal."

Brazil take on Colombia tomorrow in Fortaleza.
