Gordon Greer returns to the Brighton & Hove Albion starting XI to face Brentford in the FA Cup after the defender overcomes a knee injury.

New Brighton & Hove Albion manager Chris Hughton has welcomed Gordon Greer back into the starting XI to face Brentford this afternoon after the defender overcame a knee injury.

Greg Halford is eligible to play after re-signing on loan from Nottingham Forest but only makes the substitutes' bench.

Brentford, meanwhile, start with Tommy Smith and James Tarkowski up top, while Jota takes a place on the wing.

New signing Lewis Macleod will have to watch from the sidelines as he is not be eligible to play.
