Report: Sheffield United winger Jamie Murphy to sign for Brighton & Hove Albion

Sheffield United winger Jamie Murphy is reportedly close to joining Brighton & Hove Albion for £1.5m.

Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly close to signing Scottish winger Jamie Murphy from Sheffield United.

The 25-year-old, who joined the Blades from Motherwell in 2012, scored 11 goals in 45 League One appearances last season.

The Argus reports that Murphy will move to The Amex for a fee of around £1.5m.

The Scot could make his first appearance for the Seagulls against Huddersfield on Tuesday, August 18.
