Malky Mackay: 'I won't risk Andreas Cornelius'

Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay reveals that he won't risk striker Andreas Cornelius against Fulham on Saturday.

Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay has insisted that he isn't prepared to rush Andreas Cornelius's return from injury.

Cornelius has been sidelined with an ankle problem, and while he is nearing a return to the first team, Mackay has revealed that he won't risk the Danish frontman against Fulham on Saturday.

The 41-year-old told reporters: "Andreas is progressing nicely, but we don't want to rush him.

"If you do that, then you may get problems further down the road."

The 20-year-old has made just two appearances since moving to the Bluebirds during the summer.
