Cardiff City eye permanent Tony Watt switch?

Cardiff City manager Russell Slade is reportedly looking to sign loanee striker Tony Watt on a permanent deal.

Cardiff City manager Russell Slade has reportedly been suitably impressed by Tony Watt to sign the striker on a permanent basis during the January transfer window.

The frontman arrived in South Wales from Charlton Athletic in November on a loan deal that is due to expire in the middle of next month.

However, having seen Watt score two goals in his four appearances since then, Slade has been convinced to submit a bid for his services, according to Wales Online.

The report adds that Charlton have put a £1m price tag on the Scot's head.
