Celtic will appeal against the red card handed to Hoops defender Cha Du-Ri during Sunday's 3-2 loss to Rangers.

The Korean international was given his marching orders in the 29th minute after denying Rangers midfielder Lee Wallace a goalscoring opportunity.

The club will not appeal, however, against the dismissal handed to midfielder Victor Wanyama during the same encounter.

Celtic boss Neil Lennon has also been charged by the Scottish Football Association.
