Neil Lennon confused by dismissal

Celtic manager Neil Lennon admits that he is uncertain as to why he was sent off against Rangers earlier today.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has admitted that he has "no idea why" he was sent off during this afternoon's Old Firm derby at Ibrox.

The Bhoys boss was was dismissed during the interval of a match which his side went on to lose 3-2.

"I got sent off at half-time and I have no idea why," he told Sky Sports News.

"I asked to see the referee after the game but he said he would not see me, so I got no explanation from him so I think that is pretty poor."

The loss means that Lennon's team were unable to wrap up the Scottish Premier League title.
