Former Celtic player and manager Kenny Dalglish has heaped praise on the club's current form as they look destined to clinch a third successive Scottish Premiership title this season.
The Bhoys have monopolised Scottish football since Rangers were relegated to the bottom division and recorded their 13th consecutive league win by beating St Mirren 1-0 on Sunday.
That result also gave goalkeeper Fraser Forster a club-record 11th straight clean sheet, and Dalglish does not believe that Celtic's achievements should be diminished despite the lack of competition.
"They would be as well presenting them with next year's trophy as well. It's not their fault, the opposition is put in front of them and they have done it convincingly this year," Dalglish is quoted as saying by PA.
"They are winning games, keeping clean sheets and breaking records at both sides of the pitch. It has been fantastic for them.
"Once again, they acquitted themselves quite well for the Champions League, getting through to the league section. Although they got a bad result in Barcelona, they did well this year."
Celtic remain unbeaten in the league this season after 24 games and already have a 21-point lead over second-placed Aberdeen.
