Juventus coach Antonio Conte believes that Celtic striker Gary Hooper is good enough to play in Serie A.

Juventus coach Antonio Conte believes that Celtic striker Gary Hooper has the credentials to perform in Serie A.

The Englishman has scored 22 goals in all competitions for the Scottish club this season, with Juventus one of a number of teams reported to be interested in the 25-year-old.

"Hooper up front is a player who, with the greatest of respect to Scotland, could excel in our championship in Italy. He is a very fast player, who attacks the spaces very well and is a good finisher," Conte told reporters.

Juventus travel to Celtic in the first leg of their last-16 clash in the Champions League on Tuesday.
