Celtic defender Saidy Janko has joined Bristol City on loan until the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
The 20-year-old, who can also operate as a winger, joined Celtic from Manchester United last summer, but made just six league starts for the Scottish champions.
The Switzerland Under-21 international will now spend the rest of the season at Ashton Gate despite having made two appearances in the Scottish Premiership already this term.

Not only has he progressed through one of the most prestigious youth systems in England at Manchester United, but he's also performed on some of the biggest stages in European football," manager Paul Heckingbottom told the club's official website.

We've seen what he can do consistently in the Scottish Premiership and I believe he's got what it takes to make a huge impact at Championship Level. Make no mistake, this is a fantastic acquisition for us and I can't wait to start working with him."
Janko, who has previous experience of the Championship from a loan spell with Bolton Wanderers, could make his debut against Rotherham United after the international break.
