Defiant Fabregas promises Chelsea response

Cesc Fabregas promises that Chelsea "won't give up" after they draw 1-1 with Schalke 04 in the Champions League.

Cesc Fabregas has taken to Twitter to promise that Chelsea will respond in a positive manner after drawing their Champions League opener 1-1 with Schalke 04.

Fabregas put the Blues ahead, but was among a host of Chelsea players who wasted numerous chances to grab a winner at Stamford Bridge.

Klaas Jan Huntelaar's equalizer midway through the second half saw Jose Mourinho's side drop points against a side who have only picked up one point from their opening three Bundesliga matches this season.

Nonetheless, Fabregas was in defiant mood shortly after the final whistle as he promised On Twitter that the London side "won't give up".
