Branislav Ivanovic believes that his away goal has given Chelsea a "psychological advantage" in their Champions League last-16 tie with Paris Saint-Germain.
The Serbian defender opened the scoring at the Parc des Princes and, although Edinson Cavani equalised in the second half, Ivanovic still feels that Chelsea have the edge ahead of the second leg.
"It's a very important goal for the team," he told reporters. "Maybe we have a bit of a psychological advantage but these types of games are very difficult.
"We played well and had a lot of possession of the ball in the first half and we deserve the positive result from the first game.
"We conceded the goal, but I think with this or goal or without this goal changes nothing for the game in London."
The reverse fixture takes place at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday March 11.
