Tuesday's Chelsea transfer talk news roundup: Antonio Rudiger, Emerson Palmieri, Tiemoue Bakayoko

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Chelsea on Tuesday, November 17.

The summer transfer window has now closed, with Chelsea among the busiest clubs and biggest spenders in world football.

After two windows without signing a single player, the Blues made up for lost time by splashing well over £200m on the likes of Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Edouard Mendy and Thiago Silva. Attention will now switch to the January window and whether Chelsea will invest heavily again.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is open to joining Barcelona in the January transfer window, according to a report.

The 27-year-old has struggled for action since Thiago Silva arrived at Stamford Bridge, failing to play a single minute in the Premier League this term.

Spanish outlet Sport claims that Barca are interested in signing the Germany international, however, having been frustrated in their attempt to land top target Eric Garcia from Manchester City.

The report indicates that Rudiger is keen on making a switch to Camp Nou in the New Year and Chelsea are willing to cash in.

Arsenal's Shkodran Mustafi is rumoured to be further down Barca's list of available options should they fail to reach an agreement with the Blues.

Chelsea 'agree deal to sell Tiemoue Bakayoko to Napoli'

Chelsea have reached an agreement with Napoli for the €20m (£17.95m) sale of midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to a report.

Bakayoko struggled to make an impression in his first campaign at Stamford Bridge in 2017-18 and has spent the subsequent three seasons away on loan.

Following spells with AC Milan and Monaco, the 26-year-old now finds himself at Stadio San Paolo, where he is once again working under ex-Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso.

Napoli paid €2m (£1.8m) to take Bakayoko on loan for the season, and Gazzetta dello Sport claims that an arrangement is already in place for a permanent deal to go through next summer.

The French midfielder has featured six times for Napoli in all competitions so far this term, assisting one goal and failing to find the net.
