Leicester City's Ben Chilwell could supposedly be ruled out beyond the start of next season with a heel injury.
The Englishman's performances for the Champions League-chasing Foxes this term have supposedly attracted the interest of Chelsea ahead of the summer transfer window.
However, Chilwell has missed Leicester's last three games through injury, and manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that the 23-year-old could be sidelined for a while longer.
"We just need to wait and see on that. It's an injury that will last over a number of weeks," Rodgers told reporters during a press conference.
When asked about Chilwell's future amid growing speculation regarding a move elsewhere, Rodgers responded: "I am not worried at all. We've got a fantastic squad that we want to keep together, so I don't worry.
"There's no intention to sell Ben Chilwell and there is absolutely no need for us to sell him."
Chilwell, who has registered three goals and three assists in 27 Premier League appearances this term, still has just under four years left to run on his current Leicester contract.
