John Terry 'set for Chelsea return against Hull City'

Chelsea captain John Terry returns to training after three games out and could make his comeback to the side for their Premier League trip to Hull City.

Chelsea captain John Terry is reportedly in line to return to the side for Saturday's match against Hull City at the KCOM Stadium.

The 34-year-old has been sidelined for the last three games with an ankle injury, being forced to watch on as the Blues suffered back-to-back league defeats at the hands of Liverpool and Arsenal.

However, The Mirror reports that Terry has now returned to training and is available to make his first appearance since the club's away draw with Swansea City on September 11.

Terry's return could enable manager Antonio Conte to switch to a back three having deployed that formation after conceding three goals in the opening 40 minutes against Arsenal last weekend.

However, questions have been asked over Gary Cahill and David Luiz in recent matches, which could see one of the centre-back duo drop out of the starting XI.
