Carlo Ancelotti calls for more from his Paris Saint-Germain table-toppers.

Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that his Paris Saint-Germain team must improve, despite them being three points clear at the top of Ligue 1.

PSG came from a goal down to beat Evian 1-0 on Saturday.

Speaking to Italian media after the game, the former Chelsea boss called for more from his players.

He said: "I think that we must play better, with more order, more confidence, and more rigour because we allowed Evian to get the ball forward too easily.

"But even when you don't play well you must win. We created more good chances in the second half.

"I liked our second-half reaction, and the work put in by the players."

Despite the unconvincing win, Ancelotti admitted that he was impressed with new signing Thiago Motta.

He added: "Motta was good, he played with confidence and personality."

Qatar Sports Investments completed their takeover of PSG on June 30, 2011.
