Andre Villas-Boas insists that his future at Chelsea is not in jeopardy.

Andre Villas-Boas has insisted that his future at Chelsea is not in jeopardy, despite a recent lack of form in the Premier League, Champions League and Carling Cup.

Rumours that Villas-Boas will be sacked by Blues owner Roman Abramovich have escalated recently in the wake of Steve Bruce's dismissal from Sunderland.

The Portuguese manager insists, however, that his job is safe.

"I am 100% certain I will be at Chelsea at the end of the season," the 34-year-old said.

"We have a three-year project here and we all believe in it.

"Even if we go out of the Champions League and don't win the Premier League, I will keep my job. I am very confident of that."

Chelsea have lost three of their last four games across all competitions and were knocked out of the Carling Cup by Liverpool on Tuesday.

"I don't think it is at crisis point. We just have to pull ourselves together again," he added.

"We can only apply ourselves to hard work and continue to believe we are going to get out of this situation.

"When does it become a crisis? At the end of the season when you are able to reflect on whether you have won trophies or not. But I'll never change my philosophy about the way I want my teams to play."

Chelsea are currently fifth in the Premier League, ten points adrift of leaders Manchester City.
