Chelsea will have a new sponsored name for Stamford Bridge by the start of the 2012/13 season, chief executive Ron Gourlay has confirmed.
The West London side are hoping to strike a deal similar to that of Arsenal, who sold the naming rights to their new stadium to Emirates for £100m.
"We hope to make an announcement on naming rights for Stamford Bridge within the next six to eight months," Gourlay said.
"It would make a big step because we have to drive up the revenues."
Gourlay also spoke of plans for a move to a new, larger stadium.
