Roberto Di Matteo fears that Tottenham Hotspur could end Chelsea's fight for fourth place in the Premier League.

Chelsea interim manager Roberto Di Matteo has admitted that Tottenham Hotspur could end the Blues' hopes of reaching Champions League qualification this season.

The two London sides go head to head at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, with five points separating the pair in fourth and fifth place respectively.

"Obviously, a win would give us a big, big lift," said Di Matteo. "But, also, if we manage just to get a draw, I think we're still in it.

"If we lose, I think it will be very difficult afterwards. Mathematically it is still possible so we will fight until the end but we are looking to have a good game tomorrow."

Meanwhile, Chelsea captain John Terry is expected to return to the starting lineup for Saturday's match.
