Chelsea defender Gary Cahill believes that Tottenham Hotspur are there for the taking due to a recent run of poor results.

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill believes that the Blues should take advantage of Tottenham Hotspur's dip in form as they prepare to go head to head at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

The former English champions have turned their fortunes around since Roberto Di Matteo took over from Andre Villas-Boas on a temporary basis, but the Champions League contenders stumbled to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester City last night.

"Arsenal are having decent form and Spurs have been hit the last few games," said Cahill. "It is hard to keep that momentum going throughout the season.

"Spurs have been absolutely fantastic but it is tough to keep it going every single game week in, week out. You'll always have a blip in the season and maybe theirs has come now."

Chelsea are currently five points adrift of fourth-placed Tottenham with nine games left to go in the season.
