Shanghai Shenhua boss Sergio Batista has claimed that Didier Drogba could make his league debut for the club on Sunday.
The 34-year-old joined the Super League club from Chelsea eight days ago, but he is yet to make his first appearance for the Chinese outfit.
"He is a player who could score many goals. We really expect some great performances in the future," Batista told reporters.
"But the truth is now he has not touched a ball in a few days. However on Sunday, we might let him play for about 30 minutes. He needs to reach 100% fitness step by step."
Shanghai currently sit 13th in the Chinese Super League.
