Sean Dyche "pleased" with his side's display in Chelsea draw

Burnley boss Sean Dyche believes that his side are "growing" in the Premier League, after they drew 1-1 at Chelsea.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche believes that today's draw away at Premier League leaders Chelsea shows that they are capable of competing in the division.

Ben Mee's 81st-minute header secured a point for the Lancashire side, after Branislav Ivanovic opened the scoring for the Blues in the first half at Stamford Bridge.

Dyche told BBC Sport: "I am very pleased with the application and the quality we showed. The mentality is solid and they are a very good side. A couple of times in the second half they made some good chances but I am very pleased with the general performance and how they are growing in this league.

"We have got to make sure we learn what this division is about. The players are improving. The mentality and the physicality has always been there."

Burnley sit 18th in the league table.
