Tim Howard: "Nearly faultless" Chelsea will storm to Premier League title

Tim Howard describes Chelsea as being "quite nearly faultless" due to the work put in place by manager Jose Mourinho.

Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard believes that Chelsea will "run away" with the Premier League title following their unbeaten start to the campaign.

The Blues hold a four-point lead over closest challengers Southampton, while champions Manchester City trail by eight points with 11 games played.

While Howard does not expect Chelsea to match Arsenal's feat of 10 years ago and go the entire season unbeaten, the American stopper claims that the title race is already as good as over.

"Man, they're like a buzzsaw," he is quoted as saying by ESPN. "I think they are going to run away with it. Do I think they'll go undefeated? No, but they'll go mighty close.

"They're just strong front to back, like I've almost never seen before, quite nearly flawless. But credit to them, Jose Mourinho came in last year and continued to build and build and build, and this is what it was for. It was for the team that he puts out right now."

Chelsea return to action this weekend with a home match against West Bromwich Albion.
